QUANTO INQUINA LA NUVOLA DI APPLE? TROPPO!

Apple falls again, the Cupertino giant is doing to my mind slip one after another. After the mini iPad flop that was warming up too well and most serious scandal of underpaid and exploited workers in China, now Apple falls even from an ecological perspective.

To cast a stone against the company with Apple and Greenpeace, has accused the new system for cloud computing, according to the environmental organization, pollutes too much. (more…)

SUDAN SULL’ORLO DI UNA GUERRA DA EVITARE. NON RIMANIAMO A GUARDARE

Miles and miles of people waiting in line, a silent procession of a people that has nothing to lose because he has already lost everything. And ‘this is the situation of the population of southern Sudan, carried to the extreme by the fighting and famine, trying in every way to reach and cross the border to reach the refugee camp Yida. HAITI DOPO IL TERREMOTO TERRA DIMENTICATA, PER FORTUNA C’E’ MEDICI SENZA FRONTIERE

Fortunately there are organizations like Doctors Without Borders. It ‘a relief to read the opening of a new center for emergency trauma and orthopedic surgery and visceral in the Haitian capital. The hospital is called “Nap Kenbe” which means “feel good”, and in this name hides a very important goal: to bring wellness where missing, where are also the primary care utopia. The efforts of Doctors Without Borders in the most forgotten of the world is admirable. (more…)

ENERGIE RINNOVABILI, UNA SPERANZA PER TUTTI

Renewable energy is our hope. Represent not only a great opportunity for the western world that has squandered and continues to squander the resources of the planet, polluting, and burdening the ecosystem. They are a great opportunity for developing countries that as recently as 2012, considered a veritable utopia and gas.

And ‘the case of Nepal where illuminate their homes using electricity was a mirage before the arrival of technologies that use organic sun and wind. Nature shows, in deed, to be a great friend of man even if he, in turn, reciprocates with violence often sunk to her. (more…)

ANCHE IN GRECIA INFANZIA A RISCHIO, L’EUROPA NON PENSI SOLO AI CONTI

We thought that only children were sick of the countries of the so-called ”Third World”.We had the illusion that the West was immune to certain problems but the crisis has put everything into question, certainty, jobs and benessere.E, unfortunately, to pay the consequences are always the weakest, in this case, are also the smallest. My referenceis to the Athens event. The Greek Committee of UNICEF presented with the University of Rome report on “The Condition of the Child in Greece 2012″. The data preoccuanomuch: we speak of 23% of poor children, a rate that exceeds by almost 3% above the average European.

Young people who have their being in trouble, well below the poverty line, in Greece, and439,000 families are in difficult economic conditions, 20.1%. What does this mean? Thatdenies children the opportunity to grow in a healthy and carefree. It also affects the appearance of food: Greece has the highest percentage of underweight children in OECD countries 3. There are laws in which to rely, there are policies that make ushopeful. The austerity measures of the EU think about saving the country from financial collapse, but to the human who can do it? Cut unconditionally - salaries, services,everything – and you increase the taxes levied on citizens already harassed byprecarious or nonexistent. All this to make up for squandering a political class that hasleft a hole in the budget is too big not to preocupare European banks. And the children of those who dovebbero represent the hope for a better future, our trump card against the evils of the world, who will?

PASQUA, IL MONDO SPERA

Easter wants to be a day of hope, change and renewal. But the world’s hopes for a long time has seen them one by one dissatisfied and betrayed, what to expect from the future?

There are those who predict short-term end of the world, about the end of Europe, some American economic empire, a harsh survival for those who threaten us and for those to come. (more…)

DOPO VENT’ANNI NESSUNA GIUSTIZIA PER LE DONNE BOSNIACHE

It has been nearly twenty years, but even the shadow of justice. Yet the crimes committed during the Bosnian war were many, cruel and unforgivable. Violence that has inspired books and movies, but not enough politicians, judges and courts. Who rapes committed against innocent women remained unpunished. (more…)

LA NUOVA ERA DELLA BIRMANIA SI CHIAMA AUNG SAN SUU KYI

She spent 15 years locked up in her house, under house arrest to stand up for her ideas, the desire for democracy and the freedom for his country. Aung San Suu Kyi has finally got her victory, not only in the elections but also in her life. What she defended, even at the cost of her own life, the Nobel prize for peace, now, can finally see it materializing. Her victory is a great news for us all, that I have received with joy and satisfaction.

After years of hardship and injustice, to win even one seat in Parliament, seemed to be impossible for her until a few months ago. But now, Burma has crowned its new leader and is going to start a new era. In her infinite humility, Aung San Suu Kyi has described the victory as “people’s victory” and called upon his party and to his supporters to refrain from any excessive externalization. Small in stature but big of heart and determination, she seats along with his party with no less than 43 out of 44. (more…)

A SEUL IL SOGNO DI UN MONDO LIBERO DALLA MINACCIA NUCLEARE

Before our eyes, still run the images of thousands of people affected by the tsunami tragedy in Japan last year, and still feel the chills on the skin for the nuclear crisis that was unleashed after Fukushima. Today fifty world leaders met in Seoul for an international summit which has two main purposes: to accelerate the decisions taken by individual countries to combat nuclear terrorism and strengthen the purpose of which was discussed last year in Washington, when the consequences of the terrible explosion of Fukushima were still fresh in the minds of all. IPAD 3 TROPPO CALDO? LE POLEMICHE SI SCATENANO, MA LE VENDITE NON CALERANNO

The newest gem from Apple is the iPad 3, presented a few weeks ago in a big way as only the Cupertino company can do and is available in stores for only a few days. Apple has already briefed the media on the record sales, three million devices have already been purchased by fans. But while you are on the web triggered the controversy: the new iPad gets too hot, too fast.

Enthusiasts on the forums you read heartfelt complaints. “The back is almost impossible to touch,” “Do not get hot, but unbearably hot”, in short, so on and so forth. Some say he was hesitant to hold it and the bottom left corner reaches boiling temperatures. There are also those who already says he is ready to return to the store. The worst part comes when exceeding a certain temperature the device crashes: a behavior that Apple fans are not accustomed, and they react very badly.

The test conducted by Consumer Reports in fact confirmed that the new iPad has reached a temperature of almost 47 degrees after 45 minutes of use and experts say the problem might be the more graphics processing power of the new model, just his point of strength.

But this is not the first complaint that the Cupertino company receives from consumers and their subtle marketing strategies have taught us that sometimes all this talk and to discuss does not hurt sales too. Besides the first two models of iPad had suffered the same criticisms and eventually Apple has still managed to sell over 55 million devices.

STOP ALL’USO DEL CIBO COME ARMA IN SUDAN, GRAZIE GEORGE!

“Sudan: Stop the Use of food as a weapon.” It ‘was the slogan shouted during the protest in front of most of Sudan Embassy in Washington against the ongoing slaughter in South Kordofan, a region disputed between Sudan and South Sudan.

To demonstrate, among others, the Hollywood star George Clooney to which the protest has cost the arrest. What can I say: finally someone who has not allowed himself to take from life only made by Oscar nights and walks on the “red carpet”. (more…)
