AN I-PAD TO YALE FOR EVERY STUDENT, A DECISION TO BE TAKEN AS AN EXAMPLE
Today I want to talk about a news these days that I was very impressed, that at Yale, one of the most prestigious universities in the United States, have decided to give each student in the Faculty of Medicine, an i-Pad included.A choice that shows how the University of Yale has understood that the i-PAD is not only a source of recreation but can be an important tool for work and study. A device that can help not only in individual study, for example to take notes, search for information online or have up to date textbooks, but also and especially as a means to share and work with other classmates. In fact, students at Yale will use the i-Pad as a diagnostic tool, CAT scan and x-rays to see on the screen, communicating with patients in real time.
I think this news is very important and that the decision should be taken at Yale University as an example to all institutions.
First of all, with a view to increasing expansion of the application of telemedicine, in fact today with the increasingly sophisticated technology and the cost of computers and software ever lower health care can be provided remotely and monitor patients for health reasons can move with tremendous benefits to healthcare providers and patients.
Secondly, this decision will go to completely revolutionize the methods of teaching in schools. In fact, allow students to use tools such as the i-PAD is understanding how the method of learning has changed in today’s youth. Now the kids are used to interface with technology and it is right that it goes well in their law school education.
I do believe that it ended the era in which to study meant learning concepts by reading a book, right now would be to complement paper books and a variety of tools that enable students to develop fundamental skills of interactivity and multiprocessualità to be successful in today’s professional world.

Sono contento che ci siano persone sensibili come te a questo problema perche’ ritengo che quello della telemedicina sia un settore che potrebbe diventare davvero di grande aiuto nella cura e nella prevenzione di tante malattie.
