HORN OF AFRICA: 12 MILLION PEOPLE RISK OF DYING OF STARVATION, THERE NEED AN AWARENESS
Today I want to talk about a drama that is consumed every day in the Horn of Africa. Just the day before the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has warned: over 100 thousand people are forced to flee from what is the worst drought in 60 years.
The United Nations has declared a state of natural disaster due to famine in two regions of Somalia, the number of displaced persons is increasing and the amount of aid put in place to date are not sufficient to meet all the needs.
So you can not go forward, the situation has worsened to collapse and even more that I would call a real humanitarian crisis there is also the political situation in Somalia. Somalia has been without a government for years at the mercy of armed gangs in conflictwith each other, this creates only more deaths and refugees.
You know what I’m attentive and sensitive to the plight of African peoples, starved by famine and unnecessary wars, but also the interests of greedy heartless people.
And to think that twelve million people could die due to hunger pains me, troubles me to know that humanitarian organizations are unable to find a solution.
I think FAO, ONU, UNICEF, CARITAS must work together and pursue the sole aim of saving the people on its last legs, providing food, drinking water, medicines and basic first aid. We need help, money, must soon think of a rescue plan for local communities.
You can no longer stand idly by, there is a need for awareness on the part of the world’s authorities.

Gentile Sig.Malenotti. Mi fa piacere leggere il suo coinvolgimento in questa dramma umana. Ci serve più persone che parlano di questo argomento.Somalia è diventato terra di nessuno, dimenticata da tutti, persino da dio.
Guerra, fame, ignoranza ha preso padronanza in quel stupendo paese. Fa soffrire vedere che non posso fare molto differenza. Faccio la mia piccola parte in quanto posso. Lets give a voice to the voiceless.
Io credo che se ognuno, nel suo piccolo, fa anche una minuscola cosa per la situazione della Somalia, alla fine tante piccole cose, messe insieme, possono diventare una grande cosa. La ringrazio per il suo commento e spero che il mio messaggio arrivianche a tante altre persone.
