SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND ANVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY TO SAVE PLANET EARTH
If you’ve got commitments for this weekend hurry up and cancel all because the appointment is at the Coliseum with a unique event, “Coliseum on Fire.”
The event, involving the monument symbol of the capital, will take place on the nights of 17, 18 and 19 September, during which the Coliseum is going to ignite (only virtually don’t worry!).
This is a unique performance not to be missed: the flames, involving some of the arches of the monument will be, in fact, a refined reproduction entrusted to projectors.
The idea, ‘ born ‘ by two internationally renowned artists, Thyra Hilden and Pio Diaz, is particularly dear to me because it wants to raise awareness on two issues that concern us all: renewable energy and the environment.
And it ‘s the preservation of the planet’s green soul the main theme on which the event invites us all to reflect. It will simulate a fire from which however, the Coliseum can resurrect, just like the Phoenix.
The message is unambiguous: we are in a time of renewal and we are all called to intervene to repair the environmental damage caused by man, so that our planet ‘will rise again’.
Renewable energy is only a first step, though fundamental, in order to reach our goal which is to leave a legacy to our children and those who will one day be their children, a’ healthy ‘ planet to live in .
Sun, wind and water are the real sources to be drawn on to look to the future.
Environmental sustainability and self-sufficiency in energy are the keywords to save our planet.
I’m not the first one to support it any case: with me many Hollywood stars like Kevin Costner or Brad Pitt, as well as some well known personalities of politics as the U.S. president Barack Obama or the former American Vice-President Al Gore, have always been engaged in the complaint of ecological disasters and the sponsorship of clean energy.
Just like them, I care as well about the fate of earth and my heirs that will live in it.
And that’s why I address the invitation to all of you, to join this mission that involves all of us :let’s save our planet so that not only Rome, but the entire globe becomes ever.
