ON WEB FROM TODAY. I’LL START FROM HAITI
In poor words, I’d like to pass certain obstacle, in order to enter, with all of you, in a global communication and comparison world. And that’s why this blog is going to be both in Italian and in English, in order to try to catch the wider air of the net. Of new meetings,of new friends, of many new comparisons , with the responsibility of telling about me, with nothing in between, directly.
I’ll do it every day, trying to tell my personal field. Which can easily be the field of many others. By trying to tell you about myself in a simple way, in every days initiative in order to give an answear, just like the poet Kahil Gibran inspires…”to the voices of the day and to the voices of the night..”or rather my daily ideas and experiences, but also my deepest feelings, those who merge at night,and are, althoug indistincted, very strong.
I feel I need to speak and to share questions caring us all: the meaning of being a young entrepreneur who faces a global and complicated market in a Country that does everything in order to miss the “contemporaney train”.
I don’t want to bother you too much, but ist Renaissance history , begining from ’800 and that arrives to us as a legacy from the “big” who have made Italy possible during ’900 , from Guglielmo Marconi to Pirandello, Italo Balbo, Ferrari and so on till Rubbia and Rita Levi Montalcini. I’ m mentioning you this just to tell you the situation of Italian fashion nowadays, that more than other is the emble, the intimate essence of Made in Italy.
I’d like to dedicate my debute on web to a forgotten tragedy, Haiti, where the earhtquake has killed more than 300 thousend people and left thousends desperate homeless.
I assumed a commitment with the Haitian Ambassador, Mr. Gèri Benoit, to keep alive the attention of the world on this tragedy,that risks to fade away after a while. It’s important, after the deads have been buried, the enjured cared for,to give a hope for a possible future and that’s why it’s necessary to collect the founds this population is in need of.
Wendsay the 14 of July, 6 months exactly after the tragedy has occured, Rome will celebrate “Fashion Week” during which I’ll be engaged in a conference sponsored by the Concil of Rome, and that is the first initiateive to try to lighten up the Haiti tragedy and try not to let it be a forgotten one.
I’ll be back before wednesday on this pattern, so I’ll have the opportunity to tell you about the “Running Heart Foundation”, and “Noow” for Darfur and many other initiative that I hope will involve us and to wich the people of the net will be able to give its contribute.
